In the Yeditepe RF Research Laboratory, we can perform many studies such as receiver and transmitter designs, sensor circuits, radar, phase shift, broadband antenna and RFIC designs according to needs of RF industry. There also exists a test/measurement RF/microwave infrastructure up to 40 GHz. Our projects include both theoretical and practical processes.
Who can use the RFLab:
- PhD and Master Students use RF Research Laboratory under supervision of Prof. Dr. Serkan Topaloğlu within the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Yeditepe University.
- Undergraduate students also uses who have related design projects or who are registered the EE439-High Frequency Electronics Course
- Cooparated companies for projects and thesis
- Also some of the organizations who wants to utilize the facilities of Yeditepe RF Research Laboratory could make a request by checking available time and filling the request form
What we do:
Our RF research laboratory has made important contributions to various RF projects performed.
Different types of modular and intelligent amplifiers (LNA, PA etc.), filters and filter banks are designed and manufactured according to the needs of companies within the scope of laboratory studies.
Furthermore, various RFIC (Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit) circuits are carried out with Microelectronic Design and Characterization Laboratory jointly. Our laboratory team, which took in the first RFIC tape out in the last quarter of 2020, started to measure and characterize these designs with the renewed laboratory facilities.
