Abstract:
Determined bandwidth is a band which include GSM 900 band and Aeronautical radio navigation band. For this reason, designed filter can be used for different applications. Since design bandpass filter, microstrip technology was used. Because, microstrip filter has advantages about being compact, cheaper and easy-produce. In this project, there have been explanations about features of filters and microstrip filters. Otherwise, informations were given about transmission lines which are base of high frequency applications, and applicable parameters that to solve its circuits. The project was designed in NI AWR Design Environment software and it was also simulated with same software. To obtain targeted results, optimization and tuning features were used. The EM simulation has been applied to get near-realistic results of the filter.
