Abstract:

Increasing of devices which are connected to the internet ensures a lot of advantages for applications and development in future. Internet of Things (IoT) is the most important part of this development. IoT is a network and communication system where datas can be collected or shared. A lot of wired or wireless sensors can be interconnected with IoT. Thanks to this interconnection, devices can communicate each other without human intervention. This thesis contains a product which is based on IoT with using Wi-Fi module (ESP8266). This button aims to facilitate people’s daily lifes. The products which are bought in regular time intervals can be ordered without going market thanks to button. Until the button is pressed, button continues to stay in sleep mode. Only one time it needs configuration. After configuration is done, it can send push notifications as ordering or tweeting in every press.  For implementing the project, Lua and HTML language, for writing the codes CodeWriter software were used.
