Abstract:

The use of indoor positioning for tracking products and stocks has become quite common. In this study, the methods, algorithms, and technologies used for determining the location in closed areas are discussed and compared. The use of wireless charging circuits, another contribution of developing technology, was also targeted. Within the scope of the project, a prototype card was developed to track the product by making indoor location determination. The prototype was designed using the Nordic company nRF51822 chip. It was aimed to charge the prototype card’s power unit with a wireless charging circuit. LTC4120 chip was used in the charging circuit. Bluetooth signals were used to use positioning algorithms and location estimation. In the study, the trilateration technique was used as an algorithm, Python 3 as software language, and Raspberry Pi 3 as a microcontroller.
