A new research area has been added to the Yeditepe University RF Laboratory working subjects. The design team, also started to work on RFIC design, made its first studies on Downconversion Mixer and LNA. The frequency band of the designs range covered 1-20 GHz. The team carried out their designs on the GaAs pHEMT technology using the AWR program. The chips designed in line with the simulation results were sent to production. The measurements of the chips, produced in the second period of 2020, started to be taken with the renewed facilities of the Yeditepe University RF Laboratory. With the Probe Station included in the laboratory facilities, on die measurements can be performed in our laboratory. The first measurement results of the chips are consistent with the simulation results. Development, revision studies on chips and different chip designs continue without slowing down.
